Venue - Burswood Entertainment Complex

The 36th Australian Legal Convention will be hosted by one of Australia’s most awarded venues, the Burswood Entertainment Complex on the edge of Perth’s CBD.

Located only 10 minutes from the domestic and international airports and a short five minutes from the city of Perth, Burswood is surrounded by 100 hectares of superbly landscaped gardens, parklands and golf course.

The venue boasts a 24-hour Casino, seven restaurants and eight bars, an award-winning Conventions and Events Centre, Burswood Theatre, and a range of accommodation options.

Non-abled Guests

Burswood Entertainment Complex has a range of special facilities and services, which cater to the needs of non-abled guests. These include:

  • The provision of 72 ACROD parking bays at various convenient locations across the Complex, with additional spaces allocated during major events.
  • Complimentary valet parking for wheelchair patrons accompanied by one carer.
  • Convenient non-abled access to all Complex facilities, including wide pathways and aisles for wheelchairs as well as lifts and/or escalators to all areas of the Resort.
  • Burswood honours the "Companion Card" system which allows registered companions to receive a free show when a full priced ticket is purchased.*
  • Special seating arrangements in the Burswood Theatre and Dome for disabled guests.
  • Conveniently located non-abled toilet facilities in outlets across the Complex.
  • The assistance and support of all Burswood staff, including door persons, porters, concierge, guest information and security staff, who are on hand 24 hours a day.
  • Specific dietary needs are catered for by Burswood?s Chefs. Convention Centre staff are trained and encouraged to request any special dietary information 72 hours prior, to ensure kitchen staff provide special meals where required.
  • InterContinental Perth Burswood and Holiday Inn Burswood have a total of 13 non-abled accessible rooms, featuring larger entry points, wider corridors and wheelchair accessible showers.
